It was certainly an interesting day. The school bells are music, rather than actual bells. The students are SUPER excited about english. One question today was, "Why do you have many Asians?" Ha ha. We showed them a video about Maryknoll and they were shocked to see blue skies and "Asian students". Ms. Frank did a nice job of explaining how America is a "melting pot" of individuals.

WOW! That is a great question..."Why do we have so many Asians?" It's interesting to see how they think of America and Hawaii and how amazed they are at our beautiful blue skies as they have much smog in their atmosphere. It's great to hear these stories and see the pictures of China. What an experience! Thanks Kris!

So fun! Glad you're enjoying yourselves and learning so much about their school culture. Keep eating weird stuff because you only live once:). The Chinese live a long time so they must be eating healthy.
